Training a large language model.
I trained a large language model (LLM) as part of my school experience.
I’m Lucas, an AI student and builder connecting emerging technology with real-world problems.

I’m studying Artificial Intelligence in Strategies & Innovation at the University of Connecticut, with an expected graduation in 2027.
My work spans AI receptionists, business automations, educational chatbots, and agentic workflows for legal research. As an AI Researcher for UConn, I built a vector database for an educational RAG system. I’m interested in making these systems useful, grounded in reliable information, and approachable for the people using them.
As Vice President of the AI Club, I help members understand and apply AI through demonstrations and hands-on projects. Beyond technology, my interests include music and songwriting, audio engineering, economics, history, and travel.
A growing record of the systems
and experiences I’ve worked on.
More to come.Always learning. Always building.
